Terms of Service

These terms explain how you may use Dryve, what we provide as a marketplace, and what we expect from riders and vendors. By accessing or using Dryve, you agree to these terms.

1. Who we are

Dryve is a chauffeur-first car rental marketplace operated in connection with Qodemorph Consulting ("we", "us", "our"). Dryve connects people who want to hire vehicles with drivers ("riders", "renters", or "you" where applicable) with independent vehicle operators and businesses ("vendors"). We provide the website, apps (if any), accounts, listings, booking tools, and platform support—we are not the owner or insurer of every vehicle, and we are not the employer of vendors' drivers unless we say otherwise in writing.

2. The service

Dryve allows you to browse verified-style listings, compare pricing in Nigerian Naira (NGN), and request bookings subject to vendor acceptance and our payment verification where applicable. Features may change as we improve the product; we may add or remove functionality, cities, or payment methods with reasonable notice where the law requires it.

Listings describe vehicles, lease boundaries, and what is typically included (for example professional driver, fuel, and insurance as shown on each listing). The actual trip is performed by or on behalf of the vendor. Any dispute about the condition of a vehicle, conduct of a driver, or performance of a trip is primarily between the rider and the vendor, while we provide reasonable moderation and support channels described in these terms and on the site.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be able to enter a binding contract under Nigerian law and provide accurate registration information. Rider accounts require a valid email, name, Nigerian mobile number in the format we support, and a password meeting our minimum requirements. You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for activity under your account.

Vendor and administrator accounts have additional rules; vendors must complete our onboarding and document checks. We may refuse service, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these terms, pose a safety or fraud risk, or harm other users or the platform.

4. Bookings, pricing, and payment

Displayed prices may include platform fees or markup as described on the site. Totals, discounts for multi-day hires, and short-hire (under 24 hours) rates are calculated according to the rules shown at checkout and in our product documentation. A booking is not confirmed with a vendor until the flow on the site indicates so—for example, after any required bank transfer is verified by our operations team and the vendor accepts the request where applicable.

Where we offer bank transfer, you must pay using the instructions we provide, within any time limit shown (including automatic expiry of unpaid holds). False payment claims or abuse of claim limits may result in cancellation and account action. Card or wallet payments may be introduced later; additional terms will apply when they go live.

Cancellation, refunds, and no-show rules follow what we publish on the site at the time of booking. Until automated refund tooling exists, refund requests are handled through support on a case-by-case basis, subject to vendor and platform policies.

5. Vendor obligations

Vendors warrant that they have the right to offer listed vehicles, that information and photos are truthful, and that trips will meet applicable laws and the usage boundaries shown to riders. Vendors must respond to booking requests honestly and maintain vehicles and drivers in a safe, lawful condition. We may remove listings, withhold visibility, or suspend vendors who breach these terms or our policies.

6. Rider conduct

Riders must treat drivers and vendor staff respectfully, follow reasonable instructions, and not misuse the service (including fraud, harassment, or attempting to bypass the platform to avoid fees). You may not use Dryve for unlawful purposes or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our systems or other users' experience.

7. Content and intellectual property

Dryve name, branding, and platform software are owned by us or our licensors. You retain ownership of content you upload (such as listing photos); you grant us a licence to host, display, process, and moderate that content to operate and promote the marketplace.

You must not scrape, reverse engineer, or extract our data at scale without permission, except where allowed by mandatory law.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every listing will meet your expectations. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, we disclaim implied warranties such as merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose except where they cannot be excluded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, neither Dryve nor Qodemorph Consulting is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, or data, arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the service in any twelve-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the platform fees we actually earned from your bookings in that period or (b) fifty thousand naira (NGN 50,000), except where liability cannot be limited by law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other non-excludable liability).

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dryve, Qodemorph Consulting, and our officers and staff from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the service, your breach of these terms, or your violation of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Courts in Nigeria have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.

12. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, where the law allows. If you do not agree, you should stop using Dryve.
